His grandsire won all three of his races and his granddam won eight (including Group 1) and produced 11 winners - 4 ar Group 1. She was broodmare of the year in 1994 and sold for $2.4m. His maternal grandsire Kayashi won five races from seven starts including the English and Irish Derbys and the Derby Trial Stakes. He was champion three year old colt in Ireland in 1988. His placid temperament is ideal for adding quality to any mare as well as his obvious classic thoroughbred bloodlines for racehorses.
