All mares must produce a certificate showing that they are free from venereal disease prior to entering the stud.

Back shoes must be removed.

ALL mares WILL BE wormed on arrival

Grass keep only will be provided unless prior arrangements have been made for stabling. Any mares requiring stabling must be fully vaccinated.

Mares should arrive at stud in a fit and healthy condition; those that are severely over or under weight are unlikely to conceive.

We reserve the right to call our own veterinary surgeon to any mare or foal should an urgent need arise.

Production of a veterinary certificate stating that the mare is not in foal prior to 1^st October in the year of covering will entitle the mare to a free covering the following year, either to the same stallion, one of similar value or the stud fee paid being credited towards a higher priced stallion.

Scanning of the mare can be carried out at the stud if required.

Mares taken for foaling and monitored by CCTV.

All fees are due and payable before the mare leaves the stud.

Grass keep for mares is £20.00 per week, foals at foot £5.00 per week, stabled livery by arrangement.

All stud fees include VAT at 20%

Insurance of the animal and any tack is the responsibility of the owner.

Whilst every care is taken the proprietors will not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, accident or injury to horse, tack or persons visiting the premises.
